Svetlana Masgutova

Doctor of developmental and educational psychology, Director of the Svetlana Masgutova International Institute (Poland) and the Svetlana Masgutova Educational Institute for Neurosensorimotor and Reflex Integration (USA).
A graduate of the General and Developmental Psychology Institute of the Russian Educational Academy. She took her Ph.D. in developmental psychology. She is the author of over 100 scientific and practical publications.
Dr Masgutova has created a new interdisciplinary program – the neurosensorimotor integration of infant and lifelong reflex patterns. Her experience is used by specialists in 40 countries all over the world.
Dr Masgutova has been conducting scientific research devoted to therapeutic techniques used for purposes of the reflex and habit integration since 1988. Her research is focused on the influence of primary movement on the neurosensorimotor development and formation of the cognitive processes. Her work also includes research on the influence motor development on the emotional sphere and personality formation.
She was granted, in consideration of her effective work and enthusiasm, 12 awards and prizes from various universities and the Russian Academy of Education. In 1996, she was awarded with  the International Award of the Educational Kinesiology Foundation in the United States.

Her publication “You Are a Winner – Trauma Recovery – A New Choice Through Natural Developmental Movement” was granted in 2007 the state award (USA) “Iowa 2007″ of the 1st World Publishing. She was awarded in 2008 for outstanding achievements in 2007-2008 by Madison Who’s Who” (USA). Thanks to the effectiveness of  her programs in the USA and  Canada, a number of organizations were created for parents of children faced with challenges (over 700 people) consisting of physiotherapy and rehabilitation specialists, psychologists, SI and biofeedback specialists, therapy of hearing and vision and medical doctors.
Dr Swietlana Masgutova is the active lecturer at universities and educational and medical academies. She cooperates with several Foundations acting in children’s favor, sponsors and supports scientific conferences and events aimed at helping children in Poland, the US and Canada.
In her private life, she is a person full of warmth and love with great passion and commitment dedicated to supporting motor, intellectual, emotional and social development.
